JOIN US FOR EXPERIENCING FREEDOM!

What is it?

Experiencing Freedom is designed to help people experience the transforming power of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Experiencing Freedom creates an atmosphere in which people can:

  • Discover the source of bondage and brokenness at work in their lives.
  • Encounter the power and principles of freedom available in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
  • Learn to plant seeds of faith and obedience in response to Jesus’ offer of freedom.
  • Learn to apply the power of the Word and Spirit in their relationships and circumstances.
  • Discover how to give the love and life of Jesus to others.

How does it work?

Experiencing Freedom is based on the assumption that we need to experience the person and promises of Jesus, not simply hear about them. Therefore, we provide an opportunity for God’s Word and Spirit to intersect with the places in people’s lives where bondage and brokenness is actually operating.

As a result, Experiencing Freedom includes a variety of experiences including: corporate worship, personal and corporate prayer, teaching, discussion and interaction with other participants, and a variety of interactive activities designed to help you experience Jesus’ freedom and life.

Experience Freedom is not designed to be a spiritual high point in your life. It’s designed to help you experience key truths and promises from God’s Word. It equips you with God’s principles and processes of formation. More than anything, Experience Freedom is an opportunity for God to plant new seeds, which can grow to maturity in the days, months, and years following.

Testimonies

Mike S., Meridian, Idaho

The Experiencing Freedom Retreat was unlike any weekend seminar or group outing I have been to in over forty years of my working career. It is a deeply moving personal experience because the teaching staff is quite skilled at getting to the root of the issues we all face, both the good ones and the troublesome ones. In addition, relationships developed as a result of revealing and dealing with our issues in a group setting. It was rewarding and life changing. Come prepared to discuss the issues you hold deep inside, so you can begin to experience the freedom in your life that God truly wants for you.

Chris J., Boise, Idaho

For me one of the life changing things about “Experiencing Freedom” was uncovering the amount of deception I was living under. For many years, I built a facade around my life I didn’t know I was building. God used the Retreat to pull the rug out from under where I was standing. For quite a while afterward, I felt like the Lord had turned my world upside down. But months later, I was able to see I had been living upside down and God used the Retreat to help me turn my life right side up.

If you want the Lord to turn your world around and draw you into true intimacy with Him, it may be painful, but this is the Retreat for you.

Val S., Meridian, Idaho

I went to the Experiencing Freedom Retreat not knowing what to expect and, came away with the start to a deeper walk with Jesus and others. The retreat gave me insight into myself and how I REALLY relate to God and other people. It began a true love relationship with Jesus, one not based on works. Grace became more real to me. I began to understand His great love for me through His life on earth, His death and resurrection not just with my mind but with my heart.

I began to see deceptive patterns with God and others in my life. Questions started coming up like, “Who do I think is in control of my life: me or God?” and “Do I live my life in a legalistic way and if so, why?” These questions have helped me seek, with God’s help, to destroy deceptive patterns and establish biblical patterns of forgiveness and honesty with myself, Jesus, and others.

Probably the greatest revelation I received-one that has affected the core of my being-is that the God of the Universe, Creator and Master of all things, loves and cares for me. It’s not that He hadn’t shown Himself loving to me before, but since the Retreat, I perceive these things as they are: pure grace and pure love to me. As a result, I’m learning to relate to others more honestly, openly, and lovingly. I know this is a life-long process, but am very thankful to have experienced the love God has for me.

I’ve been to many retreats, and although this was not an easy weekend, it was an extremely meaningful experience that I take with me for the rest of my life.
